Course Description
Aerial lifts and scissor lifts, also known as Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), allow workers to safely access elevated work areas that may otherwise be difficult or dangerous to reach. While these machines improve efficiency and reduce the need for ladders or scaffolding, they also introduce serious safety hazards when not operated properly.

The Aerial & Scissor Lift Safety Awareness course provides workers with the essential knowledge needed to recognize lift-related hazards and follow safe operating procedures. This training introduces OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, common aerial lift classifications, hazard recognition, inspection procedures, fall protection requirements, and emergency response practices.

This course provides general safety awareness training for aerial lift and scissor lift operations and helps workers understand how to operate around elevated work platforms safely
