Course Description
Electrical safety for unqualified workers refers to the basic knowledge and precautions that employees who are not trained electricians (or "qualified workers") need to follow to stay safe when working near electrical equipment or systems.

Even if you don’t work directly with electricity, you might still be exposed to electrical hazards on the job—like being near outlets, power tools, extension cords, machinery, or control panels. Electrical safety helps you recognize these dangers and understand how to avoid them.
Course overview
This training session covers electrical safety for unqualified workers. “Unqualified” workers are those who are not qualified to perform electrical work, but who need to know important information about the hazards of electricity and how to prevent serious injury.

Through this training, participants will learn how to identify common electrical hazards, understand the importance of maintaining safe distances, and follow established safety practices in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S and NFPA 70E guidelines.
