Course Description
PPE is required under OSHA standards to protect employees from workplace hazards when and where hazards cannot be sufficiently controlled by the use of engineering controls such as machinery guards, filtration, ventilation, enclosures or other measures or by the use of administrative procedures and workplace rules and practices.

Each activity or task presents a unique environment and set of potential hazards. The information contained within this training only provides an overview of the applications of PPE, the general use and the proper care. Always talk to your supervisor prior to starting a task to assure that you have evaluated the job so to eliminate hazards prior to selecting the proper protective equipment.

This online PPE training course is designed to educate employees and supervisors on the proper selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment to ensure workplace safety.

It aligns with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910 Subpart I) and covers various types of PPE, including eye and face protection, head protection, foot protection, hand protection, hearing protection, and respiratory protection.​
