How do I get certified?

SaferTraining.com is a great place to start! To earn your OSHA forklift certificate and certification card, you must complete each of our course's 10 lessons and pass a comprehensive final exam with 70% or better.

How long is the course?

It's up to you! Our course is self-paced - meaning you can move throughout out the course on your own time. On average, most users finish within 1 or 2 hours. Some learners will finish sooner than others, but the course will always be there for you, on-demand.

Is this a legitimate OSHA certification?

Yes! Our Forklift Operator Certification is 100% compliant with OSHA regulations including OSHA 1910.178(I).

How long do I have to complete the course?

As long as you need! Our courses are self-paced and have no scary countdown timers that you have to worry about.

Do I have to pay again if I fail the exam?

Never! You can retry the exam as many times as you need in order to pass.

How long is my certification good for?

Forklift certifications are good for 3 years from the date printed on your certificate.

Do I need any other training after this?

Sort of! Once you've cleared the final exam here and receive your certification card, OSHA mandates that you undergo practical training provided by your employer. You must undergo an evaluation of your performance operating the forklift in real-world scenarios. Only after this process has been completed and your supervisor signs your card will your certification be complete. To assist in this assessment, we'll supply a Forklift Operator Evaluation Form, which your employer can utilize to assess your competence in various essential tasks related to forklift operation.

Are employees required to be Forklift Certified?

Yes! Forklift training is required for individuals who operate forklifts or other powered industrial trucks in various industries such as manufacturing, warehousing, construction, and logistics. In this course, you'll learn how to safely operate forklifts, also known as powered industrial trucks. To legally operate this machinery, you must be at least 18 years of age. This course is appropriate for workers in construction or general industry.
